Automotive Technician

Express Auto Service is hiring an Automotive Technician for our Fredericksburg shop. This role is ideal for a technician with strong general repair and diagnostic capability who wants consistent work, steady hours, and a supportive team environment.

You will work on a wide range of domestic and import vehicles performing maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs in a high-volume, fast-moving shop.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience and productivity)

  • Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently in a production environment
  • Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and team members
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of automotive technician or mechanic experience
  • Strong diagnostic and general repair skills
  • ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
